The Footprints Scholarship Fund (FSFUND) is a component of the Greater Washington Community Foundation (GWCF). The purpose of this fund is to reward college scholarships to high school students who have experienced the death of a biological parent between the ages of 0-19.
To be eligible for this scholarship, students must reside and attend schools in Maryland, Washington, DC and Northern Virginia. In addition, students must maintain high academic achievement throughout high school.
Losing a parent can be difficult, especially at a young age. Support from family, friends and the community serve as a vital asset to your development when a parent has passed away.
