Scholarship information

 The Footprints Scholarship Fund offers scholarships to eligible graduating high school seniors and college students (up to age 25) in the East Coast of the United States who have experienced the death of a biological parent between the age of 0-19.

Eligibility criteria

Individuals must meet the following criteria and provide proof of the following:
 

Biological parent died between student's age of 0-19
(Requires Documentation)

Must be:

Graduating High School Senior
accepted & enrolled in a 4-Year Accredited College or University
-OR- 

Currently enrolled College (University) Student
in a 4-Year Accredited College or University (Up to Age 25)

 

Cumulative 3.0 GPA
(Official transcript with a seal or signature of a school official or registrar)

 

Demonstrate Financial Need
(Provide copy of Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form))

 

One Page Essay
(Maximum 500 words)  

Student primary residence must be in the following States:

Awards mailed directly to the college or university

Varies based on the availability of funds

Up to $10,000

This scholarship is not renewable. Previous scholarship recipients cannot reapply.

        [   ] Parent Obituary

 

[   ] Official transcripts sealed and signed by a school official or registrar from each school attended
Note: Submit an official transcript that includes grades 9-12. Transcript MUST cite the cumulative grade point average and MUST be signed by a school official and display the official schools seal. Applicants must provide an explanation of their school's grading system, if different from a 4.0 Scale.
